Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Atlas personal assistant service (“the Service”) operated by Atlas (“we”, “us”, “our”), accessible at join-atlas.com and via WhatsApp.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Atlas is an AI-powered personal assistant that connects to your email, calendar, contacts, meeting notes, and messaging platforms to provide contextual meeting preparation, daily briefs, commitment tracking, and other productivity features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Atlas, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Connected Services

Authorization

When you connect third-party services (Google, meeting transcription tools, WhatsApp), you authorize Atlas to access and process data from those services as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your responsibility

• You must have the right to share the data you connect to Atlas. If you connect a work email account, you are responsible for ensuring your employer permits third-party access to that data.
• You can revoke access to any connected service at any time through your account settings or directly through the connected service’s permissions page.

Third-party terms

Your use of connected services remains subject to those services’ own terms and policies. Atlas is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access another user’s data or account
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited messages
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to process

6. AI-Generated Content

Atlas uses artificial intelligence to generate meeting briefs, summaries, insights, and other content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before acting on it
• Atlas does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated outputs
• AI-generated content should not be relied upon as legal, financial, medical, or professional advice

7. Intellectual Property

• Your data — You retain all ownership rights to the data you provide to or connect with Atlas
• Our service — The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Atlas and protected by intellectual property laws
• License to us — By connecting your data, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your account or disconnect the relevant service.

8. Fees and Payment

• Access to the Service may require a paid subscription
• Pricing, billing terms, and payment methods will be communicated to you before you are charged
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

9. Termination

By you

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting [email protected].

By us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your use of the Service poses a security risk
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice)

Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• AI-generated content will be accurate or complete
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Data from connected services will be processed without errors

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATLAS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Atlas and its founders, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third party’s rights
• Data you connect to the Service that you did not have the right to share

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Miscellaneous

• If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Atlas regarding the Service
